Detailed description is A project of ENBFM, A Taste in Time will be a 1950's old fashioned ice cream parlor, soda fountain and sandwich shop with expansion to a movie cafe. A Taste in Time (TnT) is a project of El Nido Birth and Family Ministries (ENBFM) a (501c3). ENBFM works with women and their families surrounding the time of birth, educating them about birth, parenting and life skills. El Nido is trying to buy the Frozen in TIme building in downtown Granite Falls, MN, where meetings could be held for young mothers and their families. ENBFM has the goal of restoring the building and opening an ice cream parlor/movie cafe for the community. Proceeds from the business will further benefit community through partnering with local service organizations, attending and contributing to community functions, increasing employment opportunities and continuing to serve young families. . Surplus funds made from the soda fountain/theater project will be used to open a daycare, teen center, and continue with endless dreams and possibilities. . A Taste in Time will be established and operated as a 1950’s old-fashioned ice cream soda fountain and Sandwich shop with expansion into a movie cafe. This business will not only provide a fun place for the community of Granite Falls but will also serve as job training for mothers and their young families. A TnT will be a family focused and fun filled gathering place with great food. . . .
