Detailed description is "A Praise in the Park" is an annual praise and worship event hosted by Christian Harbor Church in Orrville, Ohio, which started in July 2016. COREY FINNEY of EXALTED DIRT: The initial concept for "A Praise in the Park" was to get to play some of my music live for the public to hear, thus fulfilling a nearly 20-year old vision of mine. I asked my Pastor, John Boggs, if he'd be willing to let the church Praise Band accompany me on stage, and he loved the idea. I also said I wanted him to perform some of his own music, and he agreed to that as well. I recruited one of my brothers and a couple old friends from my days at the Doylestown United Methodist Church to help me flesh out Exalted Dirt. One of those fellows uses the pseudonym Jason Frank to record his own music, so I invited him to join the roster. From there the event developed a format similar to Christian Harbor's monthly Youth Pulse services. I invited one of my local favorites, Juanetta Romaine, to speak at the event, and she also accepted. The event was free to the public, as will be all succeeding years.
