Welcome to A Nurtured Wellness! I started on my journey as a Holistic Health Practitioner many years ago due to a family medical issue that wasn't responding to western medicine. Along my journey I have participated in many educational and spiritual classes and events that have laid the base for my beliefs. I absolutely believe in and support the need for western medicine; I just feel that there is so much more we need to consider in the whole of things. Western medicine is trained in the area of treatment of disease and alongside that I promote wellness that may help you to prevent disease and disharmony in your life. Both are necessary and complimentary to each other. To me wellness coaching is a collaboration between a client and a coach. A grounded coach will ask their client what type of changes they are willing to make, instead of telling them which changes to make. A wellness coach will help you to create your own personalized program and motivates you with resources and support. I received my formal education through Red Rocks Community College in Arvada, Colorado and am certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner. During my education I was honored to be a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. My passion is Energy work and I am a continuing student of Healing Touch and Reiki. I create all natural products for homeopathic treatment and for pure enjoyment, and love customizing for my clients! I look forward to being a part of your forward motion journey!
