I received my BA in Religion from Palm Beach Atlantic University and my MA in Church and Community Ministries from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
I am a certified personal coach through Wellcoaches, Inc, and I am in the process of pursuing certification as a personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Within the year, I also plan on obtaining board certification in health and wellness coaching from ICHWC (International Consortium for Health and Wellness Coaching).
I am married to my best friend of 22 years, and together we have three remarkable children :).

At age 27, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis after the birth of my first child.
Faced with the very real possibility of being dependent on medication to function for the rest of my life, I began looking into ways to manage my condition holistically.
After some radical lifestyle changes, I experienced almost complete relief of my symptoms, which I enjoy to this day..

I was blessed to stay at home with my children until my youngest reached pre-K in 2013.
After entering the work force full-time, I struggled to balance the stresses of work, raising a family, and being a friend, daughter, and sister.
In early 2014, I realized that I was 25 pounds overweight and had allowed my emotional, spiritual and physical fitness levels to drop off significantly.
I began training for a 5K, eating mindfully, and focusing on sufficient rest.
By the summer of 2014, I was in the best shape of my life.
I was transforming from the inside out, and along the way, I discovered my passion to help others do the same..
While conducting an online search for wellness study programs, I stumbled upon Wellcoaches.
I was highly impressed with both the vision and the academic rigor of the program.
I started the program in January 2016, and earned my certification in May 2017.

My Wellcoaches training has had a powerful impact on my own wellness journey.
I have learned to use my strengths and values to generate positive outcomes in my spiritual and mental health, my habits, and my relationships.
I have also learned to take a gentler, more honest approach to my own frailty in order to continue on the "onward and upward" path.
As I master this perspective, I am bound to contribute more, be more, and DO more than I ever thought imaginable.
