Detailed description is Coldwell Banker Associate - Helping People Buy & Sell Homes on The Central Coast of California Thanks for taking the time to read and find out more about who I am, and why I do what I do! I am simple guy, with “old-fashioned values” learned from a pretty old book.
I was born in the small town of Arkadelphia Arkansas, where my father worked in administration for a local university, and my mother was an elementary school principal.
We lived in this great family-friendly town until I was in the 8th grade, and then we took a one-year “stop” as my father finished his doctorate degree at the University of Arkansas.
A year later, we made the big move to Carrollton, Texas, just outside of Dallas.
What a big move at a critical time in a teenager’s life! I didn't know a soul, and learned to fight for all I had on the football field, just like you would see in Friday Night Lights.
That fight and my core values are instilled in me to this day! After finishing high school in Texas, I made the decision to go back to Arkansas to get my college degree and play football at the same university where I went as a young boy to watch football practices and attend games, dreaming that would be me some day! And again, through my higher education and grinding it out on the football field, I formed amazing values and life lessons that are still with me.
After college, I began my career in coaching, and was blessed to have some great and exciting experiences.
I coached at my high school, at my university, and was a part of the University of Arkansas staff as the Director of Football Operations.
Then the long awaited prayers were answered - I met my wife – yes, I fell in love, and yes, still in love to this day! Two years after meeting my wife Mari, I made the decision to get out of football and start my own family, begin a new career, and be the luckiest DAD in the world.
My wife and I had our beautiful little girl in 2009 and we have been on the greatest journey ever since.
So thankful and so blessed! Now we will get onto my journey to California.
As mentioned before, I am from Arkansas and Texas, (you Californians like to call me a country boy) and have only been in Cambria since July 2014.
The journey to SLO County started long before 2014.
My wife grew up in Downey and Huntington Beach, and as a little girl usually vacationed at her grandmother’s place on Randall Drive, near Marine Terrace in Cambria.
It has always been her dream to move to Cambria and finish the last half of this journey! After I met my wife in 2006, she began to tell me about this dream town of Cambria, and we started traveling to the area.
She would show me this “paradise” by walking the dogs at Fiscalini Ranch, enjoying Moonstone Beach, and having dinner watching an amazing sunset as the whales in the distance blew a swirling mist into the blue sky! So in 2008, we bought our first property in Cambria, this was the beginning of the long move to the West Coast.
We moved our family to Orange County in 2013 and lived there for two years until we wanted to make a permanent home in San Luis Obispo County and Cambria in 2015.
In 2015 we made the final move and bought a great home Cambria and have settled with ease! Once here, I made another big decision to begin a new career in Real Estate.
Not a day goes by that I am not thankful for this wonderful place we have chosen to enjoy the second half of our lives, and then the career move I made to help people buy & sell homes!.
After a year in the business I could not be happier! I have been blessed to help five different couples buy or sell a home.
From moving to a new area and not knowing a single person - I take pride in that! A special thanks to those five clients and for all the support I had to make that happen.

Now, with a little foundation under my belt, I am looking for a successful second year with the goal of also branching out into San Luis Obispo, and everything in-between.
As a family, we spend a lot of our day-to-day “life” in San Luis Obispo, and we have formed a lot of good relationships.
