Detailed description is 5/4 JAZZ BAND EN COLOMBIA Y ESPAÑA!!!!TRABAJAMOS POR EL JAZZ CLASICO Y LAS FUSIONES QUE SE REALICEN CON ESTE. La agrupación musical 5/4 JAZZ BAND nace en la provincia de Alicante, España en el año 2004; de la inquietud de algunos músicos quienes se reunieron para impulsar este género musical en aras de enriquecer y rescatar los valores artísticos del jazz clásico.. . Para alcanzar este propósito se agruparon algunos de los mejores y más experimentados músicos profesionales de diferentes nacionalidades conocedores de este tipo de música, quienes dieron a conocer la banda a nivel nacional, mediante diversas giras por toda la geografía española. . . En Octubre de 2009 la banda se traslado a Colombia donde se seleccionaron los mejores músicos del Eje Cafetero, quienes bajo la dirección artística del maestro Juan Guillermo “Guillo” Hincapié y la espectacular voz de la artista española Vanessa Ortega, dieron inicio a las actividades conducentes que permitieran hoy presentar al público 5/4 JAZZ BAND como la primera y única banda de jazz vocal e instrumental de la región centro-occidente de Colombia.. . El 16 de Diciembre de 2009 tuvo lugar la presentación al público colombiano de la banda, siendo un éxito rotundo, lo cual estimuló a la dirección de la agrupación a seguir adelante con el proyecto.. . El selecto repertorio de 5/4 JAZZ BAND incluye temas clásicos de grandes maestros como Duke Ellington, Dave Brubeck, Bill Evans, Ella Fitgerald y otros virtuosos de este género.. . Agradecemos de antemano su apoyo y colaboración que nos permitirán continuar enriqueciendo la cultura musical a nivel internacional. . . LA BANDA.
