The radio station has been located at many sites around Broken Hill, but has been resident at the Centre for the Community (200 Beryl Street) for the last 6 years. . . It is a community radio station that provides opportunities for Broken Hill residents to operate a radio station and provide an alternative source of radio entertainment to the community. The radio station is a 100% volunteer organization. We operate under the Community Broadcast Association of Australia (CBAA). . . 2Dry FM is the only locally owned and managed radio station in Broken Hill. . It is owned by the community.. . Our main source of income is through sponsorship. The funds that are raised are used for running costs, maintenance and renewal of equipment. . . As a community radio station we provide opportunities for local community groups to promote their services and activities at no cost! 2Dry FM provides low cost advertising for local business!
