Detailed description is 2 Mill Street is a superbly refurbished 2 bedroom holiday cottage in Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons in mid Wales. www.2millstreet.co.uk This lovely south-facing cottage was extensively renovated in 2013 to provide two double en suite bedrooms to sleep four people. 2 mill street is in a cul de sac two minutes’ walk from Crickhowell High Street with its great shops, pubs and restaurants. A new kitchen, two new bathrooms and gas central heating were provided as part of the renovations. With mountain views to front and rear, it’s an excellent base for walking and cycling in the Brecon Beacons National Park as well as exploring the town.. . The accommodation is on three floors having two double en suite bedrooms either side of a living area on the middle floor.. . The open plan living area with polished wooden floor includes a fully equipped fitted kitchen with breakfast bar including oven, hob, microwave and integrated fridge. The rest of this sunny, south-facing room has two sofas, a dining table and chairs for four, a large screen television (with freesat channels), DVD player, electric fire, wi-fi hub and ipod dock. This room overlooks the lawned front garden with access via the front door and stone steps.. . On the top floor is the main bedroom with king sized bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside chests and en suite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. This bedroom has a south-facing aspect and views to the Llangattock Escarpment. There are also spectacular rear views to the Black Mountains from the landing window.. . The lower ground floor contains the second bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and en suite shower room including sink and WC. On this floor there is a utility room with additional fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and storage cupboards. This floor also has direct access to the street with space in the downstairs hall suitable for storing bicycles.. . Parking is on-street or on the owners’ drive. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.. . No smoking. Well-behaved and flea-treated dogs are welcome.. . Bullpit Meadow and the River Usk – ideal for dog-walking – are a short stroll away. Crickhowell Leisure Centre including tennis courts is two minutes’ walk from the back door.. . The owners of 2 mill street live next door..
