As announced today in a press release, HBO Max has given a series order to
Minx, a comedy series created by Ellen Rapoport and produced by Lionsgate and Paul Feig’s Feigco Entertainment. The series is about an “earnest young feminist” in ‘70s Los Angeles who teams up with a “low-rent publisher” to create the first porn magazine targeted toward women, with Ophelia Lovibond and Jake Johnson set to star because who says “L.A. guy in the ‘70s publishing an erotic magazine for women” better than Nick Miller? (Absolutely nobody.)

WarnerMedia YA Original Series Forbidden Begins Shoot in Thailand (EXCLUSIVE)

Production has begun on Thai-language mystery series “Forbidden,” which is positioned by WarnerMedia as an original for HBO Asia. The YA-targeted show is set to be delivered with eight one-hour episodes and will premiere on regional streaming service HBO GO and HBO later in 2021.
Co-directed by Anucha Boonyawatana (“Malila: The Farewell Flower”) and Korean-American Josh Kim (“How To Win At Checkers (Every Time)”), the series follows four friends who travel from Bangkok to a remote village in the mountains for the funeral of the estranged father of one of the group members.
