Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff will live at White House s guest residence, Blair House, for some time before shifting to the official residence of the Vice President of the US at the Naval Observatory, an aide for Harris said. The reason behind it is the official mansion is reportedly under maintenance and needs some repairing. CBS said that the second family would live at Blair House temporarily because of repairs to the residence that are more easily conducted with the home unoccupied. The work needed to be done reportedly includes replacing chimney liners and other maintenance.
