Vietnam to see export growth as global demand recovers
Global demand for goods is recovering and this is an opportunity for Vietnam to boost its exports of consumer and industrial products, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).
The ministry forecasts that Vietnam’s import and export activities will continue to increase in the coming months as free trade agreements (FTAs) are gradually being implemented in a more comprehensive and effective manner.

Traffic in Ho Chi Minh City was heavily congested on Thursday evening after a downpour hit it during the peak hour.
As witnessed by correspondents of
Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper at around 6:15 pm, a huge volume of traffic was clogged along the section from Nguyen Van Troi Strreet to Cong Ly Bridge in Phu Nhuan District.
Gridlock was also seen on the route from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to the Hoang Van Thu – Cong Hoa Junction in Tan Binh District, with the queue of delayed traffic to stretch as far as one kilometer.

Ho Chi Minh City’s Transport Department has proposed to ban rudimentary transport vehicles in two phases by 2025.
Accident involving a three-wheeled vehicle at Nguyen Tri Phuong roundabout, District 10 H City in 2017. Two people were injured and hospitalized.
The Department has submitted to the HCM City People’s Committee a plan to regulate traffic flows of motorized 3 wheeled and homemade 3-4 wheeled vehicles before totally banning them after 2025.
By 2022, all rudimentary vehicles will be banned in the city center within the boundaries of streets Hai Ba Trung – Ton Duc Thang – Ham Nghi – Pham Ngu Lao – Nguyen Thi Nghia – Cach Mang Thang Tam – Dien Bien Phu – Hai Ba Trung.
