HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Happening Tuesday, Henderson County High graduates will get some recognition.
The senior parade is back this year.
The parade will step off Tuesday at 6 p.m.
We’re told you’ll need to be at the parking lot bowl of the hospital off 12th Street by 5:45 pm. for line up.

HENDERSON, Ky. The Tri-County recorded 18 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Friday as 10 were reported in Henderson as well as four cases each in Webster and Union counties, according to the Green River District Health Department
Overall, the seven-county district reported 33 new cases, including 12 in Daviess County and three in Ohio County.
The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100,000 population over the past seven days, continued its climb in Webster County, rising to 30.9 as of Thursday afternoon and holding it in the red or critical level. Henderson County and Union County each remained in the orange or accelerated level with rates of 15.8 and 21.9, respectively.

As April of 1971 came to a close so did two Henderson institutions.
The city of Henderson hosted an appreciation program for Margaret L. “Tardy” Nichols April 28 at what is now called The Gathering Place because she was retiring. The end of April also saw the last passenger trains stop at Union Station.
I wrote last June 7 about passenger service ending at Union Station, so I’m not going to dwell on that at length. I want instead to focus on Nichols, who probably has not been given full recognition for the roles she played.
HENDERSON, Ky. Henderson County recorded 10 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Monday as reported by the Green River District Health Department.
Overall, the GRDHD reported 39 new cases in its seven-county district on Friday with 26 of those in Daviess County. McLean County, Union County and Webster County had one new case apiece.
Last week, the Green River District saw 243 new cases and five COVID-related deaths.
According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 9,577 Henderson County residents (21%) are fully vaccinated and 1,660,753 unique individuals have been vaccinated in Kentucky as of April 18. For Union County, 2,675 residents (19%) are fully vaccinated and 2,810 (21%) Webster County residents are fully vaccinated.
