Emily Mahoney s sudden and unexpected move to San Antonio didn t allow for her to bring all of her plants.
In February, the 35-year-old gardener had to rush more than 1,000 miles from Tampa, Florida to Texas in order to care for her elderly mother. Only a few of her plants made the journey to her new home. Among the plants to make the cut was her mango tree of the Pickering dwarf variety.
