New Hampton Tribune Home / Obituaries / Kenneth Kenny William Hackman, 75 Kenneth Kenny William Hackman, 75 Sun, 02/28/2021 - 3:35pm Bob Fenske Kenneth Kenny William Hackman, age 75 of Ankeny, formerly of New Hampton, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, in Des Moines. Public funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Kevin Frey officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Hampton with the New Hampton Fire Department as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny s grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The service will be live-streamed at 10:30 on the Hugeback Johnson Facebook page. Friends may greet the family from 3 p.m.to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory in New Hampton. Visitation continues an hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Masks and social distancing are recommended.

William Ellis McManus, D.D.S. William Ellis McManus, D.D.S. He graduated as valedictorian from Shelter Island High School in 1959 and was the first inductee into the Shelter Island Scholar/Athlete Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in basketball and baseball. Bill set his sights on becoming a dentist at a young age. He graduated from Brown University with an A.B. in chemistry in 1963 and went on to pursue a doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree from the Columbia University School of Dentistry in 1968, receiving the distinguished Ella Marie Ewell Medal for proficiency in dentistry, and the pedodontics and oral surgery awards.
