Columbus CEO s ninth annual program has named 77 companies as Top Workplaces for 2021.
The winners were chosen based solely on surveys of 17,433 employees conducted by Philadelphia-based Energage, a workplace research firm that runs Top Workplaces programs across the country. To be considered, companies must have at least 50 employees in central Ohio.
The 2021 honorees are featured in the May issue of
Columbus CEO and will be celebrated at a virtual event being planned for May.
Without further ado, here are the Top Workplaces for 2021. First, Special Awards, and then the main Top Workplaces rankings, categorized in small, medium and large companies based on number of employees.

Hamilton Elementary School announced that it has closed on Wednesday after the building was hit by a bullet Tuesday night.
The Hamilton Local School District says a bullet damaged a window on the north side of the building. They canceled classes at the elementary school to allow time for repairs and due to an active investigation into the incident.
Hamilton Elementary School will be closed today, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 for repairs to property damage and an ongoing investigation of the North side of the building.
No one was injured in the incident.
The district said all other buildings were inspected and deemed safe for school on Wednesday by the Franklin County Sheriff s Office and Obetz Police.
Westland High School will reopen Thursday with increased security after South-Western City Schools officials decided not to open Wednesday based on information from law enforcement, the district said.
In a letter to parents, the district said information was received from law enforcement about a potential safety issue and due to the timing of the information, the district made the decision to close the school Wednesday.
The district said the decision was made out of an abundance of caution and to allow district leaders to meet with law enforcement to develop a plan to ensure safety moving forward.
No shuttle service was provided between the high school and South-Western Career Academy on Wednesday.
