Following weeks of rumors and whispers of sightings, little has been confirmed about the origins of the 5’2” campus myth. First seen on March 8 in Hirst Lounge, the identity or origin of what some are calling “Lil Nosey” is otherwise unknown.
Lil Nosey’s arrival to campus has brought a feeling of community once again. They have breathed life into a campus that has been struggling to create a firm community in the middle of a pandemic. Students have gathered to discuss theories and go on hikes in hopes of seeing the infamous nose, and Instagram accounts compiling (unverified) data have emerged. It’s rare that you pass a table in Hirst Lounge without hearing about

A couple weeks ago, a majority of Students’ Association (SA) Senators resigned, citing as one reason among many that SA Government impedes student activism.
I’ve heard a variety of responses to this. Many praised the former senators for making their voices heard, while others (according to a poll on the UR Confessions Instagram) thought that the senators may have resigned for clout.

Rochester is midway through the winter season, which brings with it one of the more unfortunate quirks of UR student life endless gray skies.
I’ve learned to savor when the sun decides to pop out for a visit in Rochester. You take the sun for granted until you realize in early autumn that your free trial of natural vitamin D is almost up. The clouds add an extra layer of weight on top of the stress everyone’s already feeling.
