Two men were arrested July 27 in Hubbard County after crawling into a section of pipe on the Enbridge Line 3 pipeline replacement project.
According to a press release from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, multiple persons were reported trespassing at 12:55 a.m. on a pipeline worksite in Straight River Township.
Pipeline workers reported that two people crawled into the pipe while others ran off into the woods, the release says. Arriving deputies learned that the section of pipe was over 2,000 feet long and that the trespassers had not yet come out.
