INTERIOR designers in Henley have seen an increase in people improving their homes throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Niki Schäfer and Hannah Dean first saw an increase in refurbishment projects after the first national lockdown in March last year.
They say that people have used the covid-19 restrictions as an opportunity to redecorate as they’ve saved money, had more time to make decisions and wanted a change after so long staying indoors.
Mrs Schäfer, 49, of Niki Schäfer Interior Designs, found more people wanting new kitchens, office spaces and landscaped gardens.

Hannah Dean (inset) is a high-profile Covid denier who claimed that the pandemic is a lie and hospitals are not busy. Picture: PA A SENIOR health worker at Dorset County Hospital has blasted Covid hoaxers’ who have believe the coronavirus pandemic is a lie - calling them ‘silly’. There have been a number of cases of people taking photographs and videos of empty hospital corridors across the country to prove the situation is not as bad as reported. One recent incident saw Hannah Dean claim to be a ‘registered journalist’ online and filmed staff and took pictures of empty corridors at hospitals around Southern England to argue there was no ‘visual evidence’ of the coronavirus crisis. She has since been banned from visiting hospitals.
