Apple is planning to launch a new entry-level iPad, iPad mini, and iPad Pro at its Spring Loaded event tomorrow, along with a few surprises, according to Wedbush analysts.

MacRumors, Wedbush analysts Daniel Ives and Strecker Backe explained that the iPad will be the main focus of Apple s Spring Loaded event, with new entry-level iPad, iPad mini, and iPad Pro models being announced.
The 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will apparently be receiving significant changes, including the A14X chip and a game-changing mini-LED display for the 12.9-inch model, allowing for better color performance, dimming capabilities, and higher contrast.

Ahead of Apple’s ‘Spring Loaded’ event tomorrow, Wedbush analysts Daniel Ives and Strecker Backe claim that Apple’s event will only be focused on new iPad announcements.
Apple will only be announcing the 2021 iPad Pro, a new iPad mini, and an entry-level iPad at the event. The analysts further claim that the 11-inch and 12.9-inch 2021 iPad Pro will be getting major upgrades, including an A14X Bionic chip.
The mini-LED display will be exclusive to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro and offer higher contrast, better color reproduction, and more. The analysts believe that there will be a slight increase in the prices of the 2021 iPad Pro. The current 11-inch iPad Pro starts at $799, while the 12.9-inch variant is available for $999. Pricing for the other iPads that Apple will announce at the event is not expected to change.
Microsoft to buy speech tech company Nuance for nearly $20 billion

Microsoft, on an accelerated growth push, is buying speech recognition company Nuance in an all-cash transaction valued at $19.7 billion, including the AI software company s debt.
This acquisition is the Redmond, Washington-based software giant s second largest under CEO Satya Nadella, after its $26 billion acquisition of professional networking site Linkedin, in 2016. Microsoft will pay $56 per share, a 23% premium over the closing price of Nuance on April 9. For Nadella & Co, this is the right acquisition at the right time with Microsoft doubling down on its healthcare initiatives over the coming years, said Wedbush Securities analysts Dan Ives and Strecker Backe in a research note.
