There are usage restrictions set forth by the federal government. The money can be used for directly responding to the public health emergency in the form of assistance to households, small businesses or impacted industries such as tourism, travel and hospitality; responding to workers performing essential work during the public health emergency by providing premium pay to eligible workers; providing government services to the extent of the reduction in revenue due to COVID-19; and making investments in water, sewer or broadband infrastructure.

Singapore â 28-year-old chief executive officer and co-founder of homegrown gaming chair company Secretlab, Ian Ang, recently purchased two luxury properties worth S$51 million.
Mr Ang, who won the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award for consumer products in 2020, purchased a Good Class Bungalow (GCB) at 27 Olive Road in Caldecott Hill Estate worth S$36 million and another five-bedroom triplex penthouse at Leedon Residence for S$15 million, reported Property portal EdgeProp on Jun 29.

A man who shot at a Vancouver police patrol vehicle as the officer investigated a complaint regarding gunshots at an apartment complex was sentenced Tuesday to eight years in prison.
Joseph Andrew Ezetta, 50, of Vancouver pleaded guilty in Clark County Superior Court to amended charges of attempted first-degree assault and reckless endangerment stemming from the June 9, 2019, incident at the One Lake Place Apartments.
