Sara Friberg, The Royal Court of Sweden Prince Carl Philip of Sweden has attended his first meeting of the Swedish National Museum`s Friend`s Board. The prince was elected to be a new member of the board earlier this month. The prince has long been involved in the association and has, on several occasions, had both official and private meetings with them. In 2019, Prince Carl Philip handed out the Young Artisans Scholarship at a ceremony at the National Museum. The scholarship then went to the ceramicist, Alexander Tallén. The scholarship is worth 100.000 Swedish crown and is awarded by the Bengt Julin’s fund, which is part of the National Museum’s Friends Association.
