Andhra Pradesh Schools to re-open from Aug 16 - including schools under 'Nadu-Nedu' scheme

Jagan Mohan Reddy would also be launching and opening schools under the Nadu-Nedu scheme. Jagan Mohan Reddy will dedicate schools, renovated under the Nadu-Nedu scheme, on the same day to the people of the state. Reddy held a review meeting at his camp office on Friday to discuss the Nadu-Nedu , the New Education Policy (NEP) and the Vidya Kanuka scheme. He will launch the second phase of the school renovation scheme on August 16 itself, coinciding with the provision of Jaganna Vidya Kanuka kits as well.

He was apprehended by the police on Friday. Indore: A minor girl was allegedly blackmailed into paying Rs 16 lakh to a 17-year-old boy who threatened to circulate her obscene photos on social media platforms. The matter came to light after the girl’s parents caught her stealing cash from their almirah. Subsequently, the police were alerted and the teenage accused was detained.

Bihar: After fight with husband, woman throws 4 minor daughters in pond, 3 dead

Patna: In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old woman allegedly threw her four minor daughters in a pond after a heated argument with her husband on call. Her three daughters died while the fourth was rescued by locals who rushed to the spot after hearing her cries.

Noida: In a piece of good news, the Noida Police as part of a special campaign has reunited 68 missing kids with their families on Sunday. As per the report, out of 68 children, 48 kids were missing from UP s Gautam Buddha Nagar district. The city police successfully traced 10 missing kids within hours and over to their parents.

Gurugram: In a chilling incident, a 30-year-old man allegedly strangled a six-year-old boy to death, and smashed his face with bricks before dumping his body in bushes in a vacant plot in Haryana’s Gurugram near Delhi. The accused, identified as Guddu Kumar Sahni, was arrested on Saturday, and subsequent police inquiries revealed that he committed the crime to seek revenge against the deceased child’s mother.
