In a season full of surprises, a pair of favorites punched their tickets to the NCAA Tournament last weekend, with UNC winning the ACC and Northwestern taking the Big Ten crown. Outside of the Power Five, High Point secured its fourth-straight NCAA Tournament automatic qualifier by winning the Big South.
But donât use a pen if youâre trying Bracketology at home. Thereâs still plenty up in the air. St. Joe s shook things up by downing nationally-ranked Richmond in the A-10 semis last weekend, opening the door for UMass to earn its bid to the tournament and leaving the Spiders to sweat it out, hoping for an at-large bid on Sunday.

Following an impressive comeback victory over the USC Trojans on Friday, which featured seven unanswered Buffalo goals, the University of Colorado lacrosse team looked to maintain its positive momentum on senior day against Arizona State on Sunday. In their previous matchup, the Sun Devils got the best of Buffaloes on Mar. 28 in Tempe, representative of Colorado’s struggles away from home this season.

BOULDER Although there is over one month until the Pac-12 Conference Tournament, May 5-8, the Colorado lacrosse team will wrap up its home schedule this week at Kittredge Field with a pair of rematches against conference opponents Southern California and Arizona State.
First up, the Buffs (3-5, 1-3 Pac-12) will face USC (6-3, 3-1) on Friday, April 2, at 1 p.m. That game will be streamed for free at CUBuffs.com.
Then on Sunday, April 4, CU will take on ASU (7-2, 4-1), which is also slated for a 1 p.m. opening draw. It will be televised live on Pac-12 Network with Justin Adams providing the play-by-play.

Collawn, a defender, was tabbed the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week, picking up CU s first conference weekly award of the season, while Lawless was named to U.S. Lacrosse Magazine s Taylor s Top 5, a new weekly column that will feature Taylor Cummings top-five individual performers of the week.
In the win against the Pioneers, Collawn played solid defense with a game-high three caused turnovers and three ground balls that were key in a close first half that saw the Buffs own a 6-4 advantage heading into halftime. Collawn helped keep the Buffs in the lead with a pair of timely caused turnovers against DU s Bea Behrins in the first 10 minutes of the game. She also had one against Kayla Derose.
