Cardiff Met went back to the top of the table on goal-difference but title rivals Swansea City now have a game in hand. Shannon Evans gave the Archers an interval lead over Port Talbot, with Chloe O’Connor scoring twice in the last quarter of the match and Ellie Preece beating the offside trap to net in-between.
Bluebirds win capital clash
Cardiff City FC tightened their grip on third place with a 3-1 win at Cyncoed. Catherine Walsh struck early on for the Bluebirds with a half volley, followed by Ffion Price’s first goal for the club. Megan Saunders pulled a goal back on the hour mark, only for Zoe Atkins to restore the two-goal cushion ten minutes later.

Swansea City made it eight straight wins this season with both goals of the game at Abergavenny. Chloe Chivers converted a penalty midway through the first half and netted again ten minutes after the interval from 20 yards.
