Over this past year Chair Chandragiri and his allies have permanently transformed the character of the school board. When I read his words, I was reminded of the potency of Trumpian ideology: that saying things publicly, somehow makes them true, even when especially when they are not. Healing, progress and trust are built through engagement, not disengagement. When a public body sets into permanent policy the ability to disregard anything, everything, they believe unworthy of dialogue, the community suffers. ....
