A lucky lottery winner from Warrington has been giving back to the community by painting bird boxes for Age Concern. Patricia Gill, who scooped £1million on The National Lottery EuroMillions draw in 2015, has joined forces with other millionaires to create 40 bird boxes for Age Concern Central Lancashire. The event marks the charity’s 40th anniversary and the newly-decorated boxes will be handed over to day centres as well as vulnerable people living alone across the county. NEWTON Township residents will be able to provide their input on the community’s first comprehensive plan as a public hearing has been set at 6 p.m. March 10 at the township hall.
Trustee Chairman Pete Augusta said at Wednesday’s meeting the public will be able to ask questions and provide input before trustees make an official decision on whether to approve the plan, which was prepared by Youngstown State University’s Center for Urban and Regional Studies at a cost not to exceed $15,000.
Township trustees and a 15-member citizen committee have spent time reviewing the final draft.

Hundreds more schools have been praised by parents in Greater Manchester for their efforts to help children during lockdown. Yesterday we revealed a list of more than 100 schools that mums, dads and grandparents said had gone above and beyond to support pupils and families.
We knew plenty more were worthy of similar praise and after asking parents to share the details, we ve been inundated with hundreds of comments.
