Greater Noida: A milk trader and his tenant going to Mathura to buy buffaloes were allegedly robbed of Rs 1.5 lakh at gunpoint by three men who offered them a lift from Pari Chowk.
In their complaint, Sunder Singh and Satvir Singh, both residents of Greater Noida, claimed that they were waiting near Pari Chowk for a commute to the Bajna area in Mathura district on Wednesday morning when the three accused men in a black vehicle offered to drop them off.
However, a few minutes into the journey, the accused allegedly claimed that the vehicle was a government vehicle and they needed to check the belongings of Sunder and his tenant Satvir before moving ahead. Soon they overpowered the duo and snatched the cash in their possession at gunpoint, police said.

Opposition Congress MLAs showed disrespect to the national flag while banging on the bonnet of the Governor’s car on the first day of the ongoing Budget Session, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said on Thursday.
Replying to the discussion on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya’s address to the Assembly, Thakur said the Tricolour was affixed to the Governor’s car and the Congress members showed disrespect to it.
Leader of the Opposition Mukesh Agnihotri and four other Congress MLAs Harsh Vardhan Chauhan, Satpal Raizada, Sunder Singh and Vinay Kumar were on Friday suspended for the Budget Session after they allegedly manhandled the Governor.

Shimla, March 3 : The Opposition Congress legislators in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday staged a walk out from the House over the issue of suspension of five party s members, including Leader of Opposition Mukesh Agnihotri.
As soon as the House assembled for the day, senior Congress member Jagat Singh Negi got up to raise the issue.
He said after the adjournment of the House on the first day of session on February 26 after the Governor s brief address, the House was recalled in the afternoon for which the Congress members were not timely intimated.
