County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller explained more about the loan itself.
Library Director Cameron Duff said the loan will be paid back in five years through various funding sources, so the county won’t be liable for paying back any of the funds.
The commission voted to authorize the library to accept the $1.4 million
loan from the SLIB.

The Friends of the Library will hold Books and Brews on June 30, at Black Tooth Brewery.
This event will help to raise much needed funding for operations conducted within the Sheridan County Library System. Co-hosted by Black Tooth Brewing, the event offers a 50-50 raffle, games and more.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan Library System Director Cameron Duff told listeners about the event.

The event kicks off at 5 p.m. and concludes at 9 p.m.
Renovations continue at the Fulmer Library. According to Duff the results of the work so far have stopped water from coming into the building and completion of the work on the roof will conclude in the next few weeks.
