Hilbre Manor on Bidston Road in Prenton (Google Streetview) A WIRRAL care home has been slated in a report after not testing staff for coronavirus often enough. Hilbre Manor EMI Residential Care Home, on Bidston Road in Prenton was given a rating of inadequate by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) after several failings including issues with covid testing were discovered. Inspectors found that lateral-flow tests (LFT), which return rapid results, were not being arranged for staff often enough, but there were other issues with the testing regime. One line in the report read: Some testing was not taking place and the records for other testing showed that its use was sporadic and incomplete.
