Boys and Girls Clubs of Chattanooga with Volkswagen representatives Children from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chattanooga received 98 new bicycles at the Volkswagen Academy today. Several Volkswagen production employees presented the bicycles, which were assembled by them during the factory’s recent production suspension. “Involvement in our communities is deeply rooted in Volkswagen culture, and we believe that vibrant public-private relationships are critical to a strong, sustainable economic future,” said Tom du Plessis, CEO of Volkswagen Chattanooga. “The Boys and Girls Clubs have demonstrated a commitment to helping build brighter futures for children in Chattanooga. We are proud to continue our support of this organization as they empower kids to live healthy, productive lives.”
