Pew-Led Network Helps States Plan for Rising Costs and Impacts of Flooding
Volunteers and staff from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service started planting a five-acre stormwater wetland at the Houston Botanic Garden in August. The wetland will collect run-off rainwater from impervious surfaces, such as the parking area at the garden, to help manage flood waters.
