With the Indiana Department of Health moving Grant County back to the orange advisory level, Marion Community Schools is putting guidelines in place for wider spectator attendance at school events.
According to a press release, until further notice, spectator attendance at events in Bill Green Arena will be allowed as follows:
Limit of 750 fans (150 spots reserved for season ticket holders, 100 reserved for sale to visiting fans, remaining 500 for sale to Marion fans)
Masks are required for all spectators, coaches, and student participants (with exceptions for student participants when masks are not possible due to specific activity).
Social distancing of at least 6 feet between groups will also be required; family household groups are allowed to sit together. Children are expected to sit with their family group at all times.

FORTVILLE Earlier this month, Mt. Vernon wrestling coach Chad Masters was looking forward to some sort of normalcy.
After spending the required time in COVID-19 contact tracing quarantine prior to and shortly after the Marauders’ season opener against Western on Dec. 2, Masters played the waiting game before returning to the wrestling room.
The Marauders had recently competed in the Shamrock Duals on Dec. 5, and finally, Masters was cleared to work with his team again.
