There is much more going on at the Open Door 24/7 Integrated Hub in Wetaskiwin than just providing a bed and a meal to the Wetaskiwin area’s homeless.
The Hub opened its doors Nov. 12, 2020. In that time, they have provided a warm place to sleep and meals to around 50-60 people from the Wetaskiwin area each night while also providing services to around 200 other people.

They have also created 26 jobs, served over 12,000 meals, purchased locally wherever possible and intervened in 50 overdoses. ....
