On April 18 at 2 a.m., police arrested Tyler Allen, 30, of 390 Sand Turn Road, West Kingston, on one charge of driving with a suspended license. The arrest was made after Allen was pulled over on South County Trail for allegedly making an illegal U-turn. He told police heâd made the turn after forgetting his debit card at work, and that he didnât have an active drivers license. He was placed in handcuffs after police discovered this is his third or subsequent offense for driving with a suspended license.Â
On April 16 at 3:45 p.m., police arrested Dane E. Putman, 36, of 110 Rose Hill Road, South Kingstown, on one charge of driving with a suspended license. The arrest was made after Putman was pulled over for allegedly failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign on North Road. Police recognized Putman from a recent arrest and knew that he held a suspended Connecticut driverâs license.Â
