Waco police officers are searching for 25-year-old Derrick Beverley. His family is concerned because he suffers from depression and takes medication. Beverley made suicidal threats on Facebook messenger Wednesday before his disappearance. He has done so in the past as well.

WACO, TX â Shortly after 6 pm Monday, the Waco Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 700 block of N. 11th Street.
When officers arrived on scene, a man was standing outside of the house and he told officers that his mother was dead and that he killed her.
Officers then went inside the home and found a female victim on a bed. AMR was called to the scene, and confirmed the woman died from her injuries.
The suspect, 33-year-old Lonnie Bishop, was arrested and charged with murder.

WACO, TX â Waco Police say they have safely located an elderly man that had been reported missing.
According to Police, 76-year-old Lawrence Wayne Marsh was last seen leaving Walmart at 600 Hewitt Dr on Tuesday at approximately 2 pm.
Marsh has silver hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a dark blue polo with black jeans and black shoes. He may also be wearing glasses.

Waco police investigate possible questionable death of well-known shoeshine man

WACO, TX â Waco Police were sent to the Whispering Oaks Apartments in reference to a possible questionable death on Monday, May 3, 2021.
When officers arrived on the scene, the apartment management informed officers that they had located Robert Pearson, a well-known Waco Shoeshine man, deceased in his apartment.
According to officers, after entering Pearsonâs apartment, there was no sign of life.
Justice of the Peace Peterson was called to the scene and pronounced Pearson deceased. At the same time, Waco Mortuary was notified of Pearson s death.
