The Stamford Department of Health’s Clinic is now offering COVID-19 vaccinations to licensed health care providers.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommended rollout of the vaccine to the public can be found here.

COVID-19 Updates
Today December 31 Stamford has 9,267 confirmed cases. Last week December 23 Stamford had 8,639 confirmed cases. These numbers suggest Stamford has had 574 new cases in the past week, roughly 72 new cases per day on average. The City of Stamford has compiled a visualization of data up to December 29.

City of Stamford COVID Update
Residents considering holiday celebrations are reminded: COVID-19 is still a threat to our community. Do not host or attend large gatherings and stay home the holidays. If you must leave your household wear a mask, maintain six feet of distance from others, and wash your hands frequently.
Today December 23 Stamford has 8,639 confirmed cases. Last week December 17 Stamford had 8,200 confirmed cases. These numbers suggest Stamford has had 439 new cases in the past week, roughly 63 new cases per day on average. The City of Stamford has compiled a visualization of data up to December 22.

City of Stamford Community Update
Storm
Mayor David Martin declared a Snow Emergency for Winter Storm Gail. The snow emergency took effect 8 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16 and will continue through to 12 p.m. on Friday, December 18.
Main roads are arteries have been cleared of snow but City crews will continue working into the evening to keep roads safe. Residents are advised to stay off roads until crews have more time to clear snow.
Report all downed wires and power outages to Eversource: 1.800.286.2000.
Report life-threatening emergencies to 911.
Report non-emergency issues to 203.977.4444 (Stamford Police Department).
Garbage and Recycling pick up have been delayed one day due to the storm. Thursday pickup will be done on Friday. Friday pickup will be done on Saturday.
