The Dominion War commenced at the end of season 5 and did not stop until the show did at the end of the seventh. To show that this was serious business, they didn’t even resolve the Federation losing control of Deep Space 9/Terok Nor until the sixth episode of the season, and the Federation didn’t even manage to make a strike in Dominion territory until the season finale.

Jack at one point yanks Lauren’s padd away she’s staring at Bashir’s service record, convinced that he’s in love with her and jumps on it. When Lowes asks for the padd, he deliberately hands it to her cracked-side-down so it cuts her palm.

Star Trek s official captain autobiographer Una McCormack got her start in fanfiction

A former English and creative writing professor who lives in Cambridge, England, McCormack broke into print by writing plenty of DS9 fanfiction. Usually, one has to be an established author to write official media tie-in novels. Sisko (Avery Brooks) deceives the Romulans into joining the war against the Dominion.
