A CELEBRATION of page-to-screen adaptations is taking place virtually and starts today. The Bridport From Page to Screen festival - which celebrates the relationship between books and films - will take place online. The event will take place from Thursday, April 22 to Saturday, April 24 and will see two film screenings a day along with a number of talks from industry professionals. Three BAFTA nominated films - including the Lyme-Regis based Ammonite - will be available to watch from the comfort of your own home, alongside three more. Kicking off the festival at 5pm on Thursday will be the screening of The Personal History of David Copperfield followed by The Mauritanian at 7.30pm.
