He lost his seat in the Toronto-area Davenport district in 2015 and failed to win the seat again in 2019. Since leaving politics, Cash co-founded the Urban Worker Project, a non-profit organization which according to its website “seeks better protection and conditions for contract, freelance and self-employed workers.” ....

I love the team environment,” MacLachlan told iPolitics, adding how fortunate he and his colleagues were to have learned so much from former colleague Tracey Hubley. Hubley, who died last March, had been Summa’s president since 2005. MacLachlan first joined Summa as a consultant in 2009 after spending nearly 18 months at the Rideau Institute on International Affairs. He first started working on the Hill as a constituency assistant to former NDP leader Ed Broadbent before moving to the office of the late Paul Dewar, where he was a legislative and communications assistant. ....
