An inmate serving a life sentence at the Naivasha Maximum Prison used an improvised knife to kill his fellow inmate, prison warders testifying in the case told the court on Wednesday, May 20.
Before Justice Teresia Matheka of the Nakuru High Court, the warders testified that Victor Ochieng’ used a sharpened spoon to stab the deceased.
Harun Karanja was stabbed to death on Wednesday, October 4, at around 11: 30 am, court records indicate.

Kenya Morans will be seeking to avenge their first leg loss against Senegal when they take on the West African giants in their Group ‘B’ of the last round of the 2021 FIBA Afrobasket championship qualifiers on Friday (today) in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Morans take on Senegal for the opening match at 4PM East African Time, a team that defeated them in the first leg of qualifiers that was held in Kigali, Rwanda in November 2020.
