Gilmore Community Wash Raises Almost $900 for Habitat for Humanity

(KWNO)- Gilmore Avenue Car Wash and Quick Lube says they raised $869.42 for the Habitat for Humanity Winona-Fillmore Counties during their Community Wash Saturday event.   Throughout 2021, Gilmore has pledged to donate all sales from the first Saturday of the month to local organizations.   “We’ve been blessed beyond imagine and it’s time to give back to say thank you,” said Gilmore Avenue Car Wash’s Tiffany Schindeldecker.  Schindeldecker estimated the community wash events from February through April raised a combined total of over $4,500. The habitat joined the likes of the Warming House, Winona Volunteer Services, and the Winona Symphony Orchestra as beneficiaries of the event.
