Tropical Storm Elsa will impact Connecticut this morning, with flooding, heavy rains and a possible chance of tornadoes.
Parts of the state are under a tropical storm warning. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for southern Fairfield County until 12 p.m. A flood warning is in effect until late Friday evening in Fairfield and New Haven counties.
While Elsa will move out around noon, more rainstorms will come this evening as a cold front makes its way through.
There is a possible break in weather Saturday, with more possible severe weather by Sunday.
