Battling Burnout Focus of July 22 Free Webinar For Employers The COVID-19 pandemic amplified behavioral health challenges, and according to separate surveys from job search company Indeed and Gallup, pandemic-related burnout is on the rise. Burnout can spur a range of health concerns such as fatigue, heart disease, high blood pressure, depression, and substance abuse, and contributes to what researchers say is a $125-$190 billion drain on American economy each year. Mental health professionals from Capital Blue Cross and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association are working to help employers identify ways to create healthier and more-supportive workplaces both now and in the future.
