Clarion diving coach Dave Hrovat announces retirement after 31-year career Clarion Athletics Share CLARION, Pa. – After 31 years, 48 national champions, 294 All-Americans and hundreds of thousands of hours on the pool deck, Dave Hrovat is hanging up his flip flops. The longest-tenured coach in Clarion athletics history will retire in June. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Dave Hrovat on the completion of an incredible career as Clarion s diving coach, said Clarion president Dr. Dale-Elizabeth Pehrsson. Over the course of 31 years Dave helped our university earn the reputation as the home of the best collegiate divers in the nation, with dozens of national champions and hundreds of All-Americans. More importantly, he mentored student-athletes through their college years, urging them to be champions not just on the boards but in the classroom and in their communities. NC Health Board hears COVID-19 vaccination update

Nebraska City News-Press The Nebraska City Medical Clinic continues to administer COVID-19 vaccinations to those in Phase 1B of the vaccination guidelines set out by the state of Nebraska. Dr. Dan DeFreece, president of CHI Health St. Mary’s, told the Nebraska City Board of Health Monday that 92 patients braved the Jan. 15 blizzard to receive their first round of vaccinations against the virus. Board of Health member Wendy Snodgrass said during the Jan. 18 meeting that the state has changed the criteria for Phase 1B vaccinations to include those 65 years of age and older. DeFreece said that the clinic will continue to offer vaccines to those in Phase 1B of state guidelines based on the amount of vaccine the state distributes to the clinic through the Southeast District Health Department.
