St. Michael’s Catholic Elementary School in Dunnville has stopped in-person learning after five people tested positive for COVID-19. Hamilton saw 52 school-related COVID-19 cases in the last seven days.

But at this time, the books are going to remain in our collection. We will not promote them on any lists or display them prominently though, Weaver said.

Six more confirmed COVID-19 cases have been reported in students and staff in Hamilton schools.
One of them is a student at St. Eugene Catholic Elementary School community, which is managing an outbreak.
Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board said the student was last in school on Tuesday, Feb. 23. This new case is from the isolating cohort and is connected to the school outbreak, read a letter to families from school principal Linda Spadafora. Any students, staff or cohorts that are required to quarantine will be notified immediately by the school and will be contacted by Hamilton Public Health Services (HPHS) within the next two days.
