WOODBRIDGE – The township reported 160 new COVID-19 cases over a four-day period, which brings the total number of cases to 10,388, according to Mayor John McCormac in his coronavirus report on April 5.
Forty-nine new cases of COVID-19 were reported for April 1, 48 new cases were reported for April 2, 36 new cases were reported for April 3, and 27 new cases were reported for April 4.
The number of COVID-19 cases include East Jersey State Prison and a number of related state facilities in the Avenel section of the township. The state reported zero new cases from their facilities over the four-day period. The total number of cases at the facilities remain at 840.

WOODBRIDGE – The township reported 155 new COVID-19 cases over a three-day period, which brings the total number of cases to 10,228, according to Mayor John McCormac in his coronavirus report on April 1.
Forty-one new cases of COVID-19 were reported for March 29, 65 new cases were reported for March 30 and 49 new cases were reported for March 31.
“They are still higher than what we experienced back in February and early March, but very much below the numbers from the last two weeks so maybe we are getting back on the right track,” McCormac said. “Let’s hope so.”
