Tiverton Woman Allegedly Stole Nearly $1 Million from Employers
NEW BEDFORD A Tiverton woman has been indicted for allegedly stealing just under $1 million from a New Bedford law firm where she worked, according to the Bristol County District Attorney s Office.
District Attorney Thomas Quinn III announced in a June 9 press release that 54-year-old Nadine Santos was indicted by a Bristol County Grand Jury on 14 counts of larceny over $1,200 after an investigation by the Financial Crimes Unit.
Santos was arraigned in Fall River Superior Court on May 19, with bail set at $3,000.
According to the release, the defendant worked as office manager at Sullivan, Williams & Quintin law firm in New Bedford from 2004 until she was fired in February 2020.
Devon Jerre Heing, 24, 129 Melville St. Apt. 2, Fall River, was charged with unlawful
possession of firearm, malicious destruction of property under $1200, and attempted
assault by discharging a firearm.
Anh Pich, 30, 129 Melville St. Apt. 2, Fall River, was charged with vandalism, accessory
to malicious destruction of property under $1200, and accessory to attempted assault by
discharging a firearm.
Both were indicted by a grand jury and will be arraigned in Fall River Superior Court on May 27.

At approximately 8 a.m. on January 28, New Bedford Police were dispatched to 43 Yale Street on a report of past shots fired. During the investigation, detectives learned that shots were fired around 2:30 a.m. A vehicle was identified early on in the investigation, and was found to be abandoned.
