The Ambulance Service in conjunction with HSE Public Health Nursing and Dr Wheatley O’Neill administered jabs to people aged over 70 yesterday. The first and the oldest islanders on Tory to be vaccinated were William Duggan and Mary Diver, both aged 88. Advertisement Mr Duggan said, “I’m delighted to have received the Covid vaccine and I urge everyone who is offered the vaccine to take it.” Public Health Nurse Sheila Sweeney described it as a “great day for Tory”.
