The past few days have been a heartbreaking time for Denver Nuggets fan as their star point guard Jamal Murray tore his ACL and is out for the season. The Nuggies finally felt confident in the pieces built around MVP candidate Nikola Jokic, but hopes of making a deep playoff run are fading. It sucks (see Arenas, Gilbert; 2007). We’re pretty sure not everyone who reads this column follows the NBA as closely as us, but who knows, maybe both of you do. This week, we play around with some basketball-related hypotheticals involving things everyone can appreciate: booze, gambling and partying like an A-lister.
Yuri Dzivielevski wins Event 03
The MILLIONS Online #03 6-Max High Roller attracted some of the biggest names in poker, which isn t too much of a surprise considering the event s lofty $10,300 buy-in. The tournament attracted 57 entrants to generate a $570,000 prize pool to smash the $500,000 guarantee.
Brazil s Yuri Dzivielevski was the last player standing after more than 7 1/2 hours of play to win the top prize of $184,637. This included beating
Justin Bonomo in heads-up play.

Timothy Adams Wins MILLIONS Online #04 6-Max High Roller Turbo ($78,833)
The
2021 partypoker MILLIONS Online kicked off its 28-event schedule over the weekend with the Millions Online #01 Mini Main Event completing both its opening flights on Saturday and Sunday.
The event features a $1 million guaranteed prize pool (which was smashed) for a $1,100 buy-in.

Sebastian Camilo Toro Henao Leads Mini Main Event
The often controversial and rarely silent Will Kassouf has won the 2020 Irish Poker Masters Online Main Event.

Kassouf has ruffled the feathers of many a player since his infamous appearance at the 2016 WSOP. However, during his latest winning run, the Englishman let his chips do the talking.
What’s even more impressive about the win is the fact he qualified for the €1,100/$1,332 Irish Poker Masters Online Main Event for just €109/$131.
Partypoker Ensures Craic Continues Online
Owing to COVID-19, the Irish Poker Masters took place on Partypoker this month. 1,340 players joined the event but only nine could make the final table on December 16.
