Diddy Sues Sean John Clothing $25 Million USD

In this Article Diddy has filed a lawsuit against his former clothing brand Sean John for a whopping $25 million USD. According to reports, Puff is suing Sean John and its current owner Global Brands Group USA (GBG USA) for “false endorsement, misappropriation of likeness and violating his publicity rights,” after it teamed up with U.K. multi-channel retailer Missguided for a women’s line that used his name, image and likeness for promotion without seeking his permission. GBG USA is now being held responsible for giving falsified quotes to the media that claimed Diddy was supportive of the line. “The SJ/Missguided Agreement was entered into without Mr. Combs’s knowledge, approval, or consent,” the lawsuit read. “And Mr. Combs has never endorsed the GBG Collection, which is branded ‘sean john x missguided’ and ‘Sean John x Missguided.’ Mr. Combs has neither granted Defendants the right to use his name, image, likeness, or persona in conjunction with the GBG

Vinylize‘s Zachary Tipton is forging a new path for specialty eyewear with recycled vinyl records. The Hungarian-American designer was looking for a way to create eyewear with more volume, and got the idea of using LPs when he came across his father’s collection of old vinyl records in his garage workshop. Utilizing records from London, all glasses are 100 percent handmade in a workshop located in Budapest, Hungary by a team of 16 people. Only around 70 pieces are made of each model and a single frame takes six weeks to make, but the wait is definitely worth it as no one pair is the same different parts of the record are used for each model, offering a higher degree of individuality.
